His total appreciation for the visual, aromatic and taste properties of market garden produce, in combination with his entrepreneurial spirit, has allowed Pierre-André to successfully re-introduce some very little-known varieties. Considered a definite authority in his field, thoroughly demonstrated by the abundance and quality of our output as well as the media acclaim we’ve received, Mr. Daignault has a wealth of experience to bring to the table (literally!)

After earning a degree in psychology (Concordia University), Pierre-André’s career took a completely different turn in 1992, when work and a passion for agriculture finally came together. This love of gardening, propelled by his organic farm training in 1988, would lead him to re-locate in Blainville in 1994.

Pierre-André’s partner, Nathalie, soon acquired his passion for produce and ended up joining him in his endeavours. Since then, the couple have immersed themselves in their work, all while preserving the essential philosophy of this undertaking: respect for the environment via methods designed to promote sustainable production (soil regeneration and preservation). As with any success story, fate played a part in bringing them recognition. While the couple were cultivating success on the organic produce market, still experimental at the time, a friend from the high-end food service industry contacted them with a proposal. This was the start of something big…

Their venture is more than a career choice for Pierre-André and Nathalie; it’s a state of mind, a real love for a product they are always striving to improve in terms of variety and quality.
